8.   To Staff:
This year I have the ability to participate as the ABE trainer in the National Head Start Family Literacy trainings being done in California, Chicago, and Washington DC.   The agent doing this training is the University of Sonoma out of California.  You may remember that these folks used our Reading Skills for Todays Adults in their grant proposal.  Sally Belgum-Blad participated as a trainer last year on the curriculum at these 3 locations.  The training this year will center around Health Literacy for Family Literacy programs.
The first round of trainings will be the first week of March out in California.   While I am gone please contact Barb with an questions you might have.   I would expect she will have the answer....and if not she will know how to contact me
