9.  Special Attention to GED Instructors!

I'd like to invite you to be part of an ATLAS program project on the Transitions to Post-Secondary Initiative. ATLAS is coordinating a curriculum alignment project designed to identify how ABE transitions curricula are or are not aligning with post-secondary training career paths. This project begins with an important survey of ABE Transitions teachers as well as MnSCU faculty (focused on education in trades, health care, and developmental education).

We invite you to participate in this survey by clicking on the link below:
ABE survey link       http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=dtaycObou5BuhaPbFHB6xA_3d_3d

The survey should take about 15 minutes, and will provide much-needed information on how and what you do. Our goals are: 1) to collect information on the content and skills taught in ABE programs which work to transition students from ABE into post-secondary programs, 2) to compare them to the knowledge and skills required for success at the post-secondary level as described by Minnesota technical and college faculty and 3) to identify and disseminate promising practices for transitions to post-secondary instruction.

Thank you for your assistance with this important project.  Please note that participants will not be individually identified and no contact information will be collected as a part of this survey.

Thank you for all you do!
