8.   Nonprofit and Community Organization Colleagues:

The Marshall area Financial Empowerment Collaborative (MFEC) has organized a program that you may find very worthwhile for your staff members, volunteers and their families. "Preparing for the Future...A Wealth of Savings and Retirement Information" will be a lively session that promises all who attend great information and tips they can use NOW to make a difference for their future.

The program -- to run about 1 hour -- will be held on Monday, April 28 at 7:00 p.m. at the Marshall Adult Community Center. It will feature local professionals from local banking and investment organizations, and is part of the "Boomer Nation" series sponsored by Marshall Community Services. No pre-registration is required. $10 is payable at the door. In addition, small group sessions with time for questions will be part of the workshop. Information will be presented without emphasis on sales or products to sell.

Attached is a card with additional details. If you would like a number of these cards to distribute to your employees and volunteers, please give me a call and I will get them to you.

As a member of the Marshall area Financial Empowerment Collaborative; I'd like to offer a personal endorsement to this program. I don't believe anything like it has been offered as an opportunity for our region's individuals, couples, and families to enjoy the expertise of a variety of our community's financial professionals in a forum of this type all in one evening. I have had some sneak previews of their lively presentations, and I have learned A LOT. Their comments and illustrations are thought-provoking, practical, and full of information and ideas! You will have information to take home too. I hope I'll see you there. Please feel free to share this message and the attachment.

Thank you,
