Remember - all correspondence needs to be addressed to:



1.    Time Sheets - for April 16 - 30 should be in the office by noon on Thursday, May 1st.


2.  April Student Intakes & CASAS results should be into Barb by the end of the day on Friday, May 2nd.  The data will be entered as quickly as possible & End of the Year Exit information will be mailed to you next week.  The Exit information will be due back to Barb by May 15th.

3.   Wish Lists - We do have funds for new instructional materials.  Your "Wish Lists" should be turned in no later than May 1st.  Call if you need a catalog or other information.  If you do not have a copy of the "Wish List" form, please email Barb and it will be sent to you.  Also, if you need any general supplies, please let Barb know.


5.    CASAS - Remember that beginning May 1st we will be phasing in the new Life and Works Reading series.  After May 1st we will use only the Life & Works for reading assessments.  You should have received the testing information.  Please call if you have any questions on this.
6.  Spring GED Graduation is set for Sunday, June 8th.  More information will be coming to you at the date gets closer.  You might just want to put it on your calendar now.
7.  Reimbursement Requests - Any outstanding Requests for Reimbursement should be into the ABE Office by June 30th.  This is so they will be paid in the correct fiscal year.  If your school district is planning to request reimbursement on copies you make, please advise them of this date.


8.  Summer Plans - Some of you have been reporting that you are beginning to make plans for the summer months.  Please let the office know what your plans are in way of holding summer classes.  -- Vacations/days off when there will not be class at your site.  Thanks.



10.   Job Orders
  • MDU Resources Group (Great Plains Natural Gas) has four positions open in the Marshall area.

  • Temporary Laborer (17 weeks) 5918469
  • 2 Temporary Seasonal (17 weeks)  5918484
 Employer prefers online applications,  ... If necessary, applications can be downloaded from the web site and faxed directly to employer at 701-222-7821.  However, any paper applications received will still need to be data entered by staff in their corporate office.  Just an FYI.
