Our members envision a community committed to strengthening the financial well-being of its people by ensuring access to information, education and support services related to financial management issues.

Our mission:
The MARSHALL AREA FINANCIAL EMPOWERMENT COLLABORATIVE is a public/private partnership that encourages people to improve their financial literacy and raises their awareness of the availability of financial resources.

Financial literacy refers to the skills and knowledge we all need to make decisions and choices related to our financial well-being. This includes such things as basic money management, opening checking and savings accounts, managing personal credit, making major life purchases and planning for education expenses, retirement and other investment needs.
